Customising my Macbook Pro (2011)

Good idea or bad?

13-inch: 2.4 GHz

  • 2.4GHz dual-core
    Intel Core i5
  • 4GB 1333MHz
  • 500GB 5400-rpm

I I want to replace my 500GB harddrive with an SSD. I'm not too informed in matters of brand - especially reliability - and would greatly appreciate, amongst the more informed and experienced, what standard I should purchase.
