D-Link announces a compact travel router with USB and cloud sharing
The D-Link All-in-One Mobile Companion (DIR-505) is a compact travel router with a built-in power plug, USB port, and Ethernet jack that lets you turn any wired connection into an instant wireless one. It's about the size of a computer mouse and the USB port can either charge your device or share USB storage over the Wi-Fi network and in the cloud with the company's free SharePort Cloud app for iOS and Android. There are other travel routers out there, but this one seems dead-simple with no extra power adapters and cords to lug around and lose. It'll be available in April for less than $75.
