Samsung Disc to Digital Ultraviolet for Existing DVD Collection
Does anyone know more info on the process for converting existing owned DVD's to Ultraviolet copies as described in the Samsung press release?
I have a collection of approximately 1800 titles all purchased and owned. Maybe 3 of them came with an ultraviolet digital copy. I am not buying any title again, but would like to digitize my collection. The problem is time, storage, etc for a collection of this size. Ultraviolet would be huge for me, but I am curious about the Samsung Disc to Digital process. For instance, if it requires you put in a special "Ultraviolet" disc that then translates into a digital copy on your account, that is worthless for me. If it allows me to put in a 5 year old disc, and get a digital copy, I am interested.
