Google updates Google+ hangouts with a new look and screen sharing
One day after adding hangouts to the Google+ iOS app, Google's turning back to the web, adding a few new features and overhauling the look and feel of its video chat system. Screen sharing has been available for a while as part of "Hangouts with Extras," similar to Gmail's Labs feature, and it's the first experimental feature to get incorporated into the main product. Hangouts also look different now, with larger video and a white aesthetic that fits in with Google's new design for all its products.
