Digital Inspiration spotted a new video scrubbing feature in YouTube for easily skimming through long videos. Currently, hovering over the timeline just reveals the corresponding time where your cursor is placed, while the new storyboards add a Netflix and Hulu-style thumbnail preview from 100 moments in each video. According to Digital Inspiration, the feature is rolling out slowly now, and we've also seen it come and go here at The Verge. There's no word from YouTube on this yet, but we saw a similarly slow rollout with the YouTube redesign several months ago that appeared seemingly at random for many users.
