These pieces by Japanese design group Tymote aren't exactly new (they were first released some months ago), but the quality of work here still makes them worth bringing up. The animations evoke something between a road trip and an early video game; when projected around a stationary cyclist as seen below, they're surprisingly immersive. The videos here are "Jetcoaster Romance" and "Holiday Cycling" respectively — check them out for a trip through neon-colored pastorals, floating pyramids, and polygonal volcanoes.

I was literally going to comment the exact same thing… Although, saying that, I do want one…. trying to balance an iTouch on the bike is not a great solution

This would be great at the gym, I would spend a lot more time on a stationary bike if something like this were distracting me.
