Let the parade of hackneyed headings begin: Google's now rolling out a photo text tool for Google+ that will allow users to flood their circles with original memes. The tool uses the big, black-bordered white text that usually accompanies memes, and users can create new memes by dropping a photo into Google+'s sharebox and then clicking the "add text" button. The update should arrive sometime in the next few days, but if you're anxious for memes in the meantime, feel free to visit nearly any other website on the internet.
In a separate update, Google's Chris Messina announced that Google+ will be adding hashtag autocomplete — now, when entering hashtags, Google+ will provide recommendations. It looks similar to how Google's autocomplete feature works in search, and it should be rolling out immediately.

I weep for humanity. Perhaps I’ll just avoid social networking for a few weeks. Or months.

at least they know when to kill something instead of stringing it along and hoping people will forget about it. (Ping)

You mean like Chromebook
hahaha … seriously most of the projects they killed should have died long ago, and I am sure google will keep adding products to the dead book.
PS. Apple does kill stuff, remember mobile-me? They just dont have that many junk to throw away since they tend to focus on the handful projects on hand.

Difference is alot of the products google killed were actually good but didnt get any traction. Thats why you see elements of dead products in existing and new products.

I wasn’t even aware that the hashtag in g+ was a real thing. I thought people just used it as a carryover from twitter.

Will google ever change the age to 13+ because honestly they are losing out on a huge share of the market! And trust me i know the stats, take my youtube channel for example. The 13-17 age groupe is just as bug as evere other age groupe and plus teens are some of the most active internet users.

Who the hell cares about age restrictions these days anyway? Companies just put them there because Health and Safety tells them to.

I would agree with them lowering the entry age, as long as they added a localized spelling and grammar test as well. Other than that I have no problem allowing your ‘groupe’ of youngsters in. And trust me i is not lying.
