Some movie goers in a Regal Cinemas in New York City didn't get what they paid for a couple of nights ago: advertising played over the closing minutes of Martin Scorsese's tribute to silent film, Hugo, ruining the film experience. A Gothamist tipster said that this wasn't the first problem during the showing: the film stopped playing two times before this incident. Thanks to digital projectors and large movie houses, there was no one monitoring the film and the problem went unchecked for far too long.
