Nintendo releasing first downloadable 3DS demo, 'Resident Evil Revelations,' on January 19th
Our friends in Japan have had access to Nintendo 3DS game demos for a few weeks now, but users in the states will be able to download free demos from the eShop right to their console starting on January 19th. Kicking things off is Resident Evil Revelations, which is scheduled to launch on February 7th and take advantage of Nintendo's new Circle Pad Pro accessory. One week later, Nintendo will offer up a demo of Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games, with Rayman Origins and Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D to follow at an unspecified date. Here's hoping Nintendo keeps the eShop's demo selection well stocked — it won't be of much use to owners without a constant stream of new content.
