One of the many, many tablets announced at CES this year is available today, the Pantech Element. It's an 8-inch Android tablet running on AT&T's LTE network that normally wouldn't be anything to write home about — especially since it's only running Android 3.2 — but it also has a twist: it's fully waterproof down to 30 feet.

It has a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor and something Pantech calls "Enhanced Haptic Feedback." Pantech says that it will be upgradeable to Ice Cream Sandwich later this year.

The Element runs $299 on a two-year contract, but you can also "save" $50 and get it for $249 if you're willing to sign up for another contract and the second data plan that goes along with it. The bundle includes Pantech's other CES announcement: the Pantech's Burst Android smartphone. The Burst represents Pantech's re-entry into the smartphone game, but as we said in our hands-on it's a little overachiever of an LTE smartphone. Both are available at AT&T now.
