Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx now available on Verizon, $299.99 on contract
Verizon Wireless is bringing out the latest addition to the Droid family today, the RAZR Maxx. Not much has changed from the original Droid RAZR that came out just a couple of months ago, but the Maxx has a 3,300mAh battery that Verizon is claiming brings 21 hours of talk time. We definitely had bigger problems with the Droid RAZR than its battery life, such as its grainy Pentile AMOLED screen and overbearing Android 2.3 skin, and unfortunately it doesn't look like the Maxx will make any improvements there. Still, if you're a Verizon customer after a new Droid and can't wait for the Droid 4 to finally get a release date pinned down, you could probably do worse. The Droid RAZR Maxx will sell for $299.99 with a new two-year contract or $649.99 without, and that'll get you a 16GB Micro SD card in addition to the 16GB of onboard storage.
