Why wouldn't I encrypt my Galaxy Nexus?
So I got a Galaxy Nexus recently (which is stunning btw - yes you should. Yes YOU), and noticed under the Security settiings menu an option to "Encrypt phone". My question is simple - why wouldn't I do that? It seems like the phone itself wishes to discourage it, does it cause a drastic slowdown or anything?
