9Solutions’s Real Time Locating Systems (RLTS) are exactly what they sound like — a way for companies to locate all of their stuff (staff, assets, etc.). The company’s collaborating with Texas Instruments, and it’s going to be showing off its next-generation tracking running on an iPhone 4S at CES this week. While the first generation of 9Solutions’s technology was Bluetooth 2.1-based, the new stuff features an ultra low-power Bluetooth 4.0 solution from TI.
