Verizon Jetpacks: two global-ready 4G LTE mobile hotspots from ZTE and Novatel
Verizon Wireless is introducing two Jetpack LTE mobile hotspots here at CES 2012 that work both in the US and abroad. The ZTE EuFi890 Jetpack is a 3.49-inch square with an OLED display, while the Novatel MiFi 4620L is a credit card-sized alternative with an OLED and status indicator. Both models support up to 10 concurrent Wi-Fi device connections, work on Verizon's 4G LTE network, and are compatible with Windows, OS X, Linux, and mobile devices. They're also global ready; they will function in over 200 countries, 125 of which offer compatible 3G. The release didn't have any pricing information for either Jetpack just yet, but they should start appearing in Verizon Wireless stores in the coming weeks.
