Anybody else extremely disappointed by Microsoft's CES keynote?
I'm just disappointed that Microsoft's new-found innovative skills weren't exhibited in the case of new features and such rather than just rehashing their older releases. I feel like Microsoft had a legitimate way of obtaining some hype about Windows 8 if they showed off some newer work that they undoubtedly are currently working on with a new user interface or something of that sort. The metro UI that they have been touting is pretty great looking and functional, but without any minor changes here or there, Microsoft could end up with a reputation for a "boring" UI that iOS is known for in the forums of the interwebs today. Also, as a sidenote, Ballmer was absolutely atrocious... in a pretty fascinating way. ;)
