Why buy a Windows 8 tablet vs an iPad?
For starters:
* The Surface RT has the Touch/Type cover with magnetic attachment and built-in kickstand.
* Windows 8 has 2 flavors - ARM & x86. iOS is ARM-only.
* Windows 8 has Office 2013
* Windows 8 has the full desktop, Windows RT has the desktop for Office & File Explorer
* Windows 8 has full mouse, keyboard and pen support.
* Windows 8 has live tiles, ability to pin any content to start screen, improved multitasking, snap-view
* Native access to Microsoft's full cloud services - SkyDrive, Office, Outlook.com, XBox Live
Yes there aren't enough apps yet, but they will come. I think there are MORE than enough reasons why to choose a Windows 8 tablet over an iPad.
