Swipe gesture multitasking in WP8

What appears to be swipe gesture multitasking

Do you guys think this will be how we multitask? It would make perfect sense if we remember the shared core and if microsoft wants to give us a very similar experience on every Windows device then this would be the most logical way to multitask.

Needless to say, if this is true, I'am switching from Android
