Thinking of going mirrorless ... help please
Okay, without getting into too much detail ... I am a former pro photographer (now a full-time mom and hobbiest photographer). I have a pretty in decent collection of Nikon lenses/flashes, photogenic studio lights, and I still use my Fuji S5, which even though it is old, I still love that camera. I have no intention of getting rid of my current equipment, but I'm very intrigued with the mirrorless cameras to "play" with. I love the fact that they are so small, and would be so much easier to keep with me and take on trips.
So, two questions ...
1. Will I be happy going mirrorless, or should I wait another year or two (I realize quality will always improve)?
2. Which camera should I get? I've been doing a lot of research, and this is what I have concluded. The Fuji X-Pro1 has amazing image quality, BUT it is very expensive, and it sounds like it is very slow to focus (which coming from DSLR would drive me nuts)? The Olympus OM-D E-M5 looks pretty sweet. Expensive, but from what I can tell should be worth it??
Is there anything else I should consider? I know there are several cameras coming out within the next month, so do I pull the plug now, or wait??
Thanks for your help!!
