I really hope that the surface takes off... that Windows RT takes off... that Android tablets get even better and that instead of iEverything, we have a wonderfully diverse consortium of operating systems and devices. I think it already should be like that, the platforms are all striving really hard and an iPad, RT slate, or Android Tablet are all going to give you a good experience... just pick your ecosystem wisely. Technology spoils us, seriously.
