LG Optimus G on Sprint releasing November 11th for $199.99
Hot on the heels of AT&T's pricing and availability announcement for LG's new flagship device, the Optimus G, Sprint has now also confirmed the release of its own variant. The 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 4.7-inch WXGA True HD IPS Plus display, 4G LTE-touting Android handset will be available on November 11th for $199.99 with a new two-year service agreement. The device will ship with Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed, though an update to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean could arrive before the end of the year. Unlike the AT&T version, which uses an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, the Sprint model will come equipped with a 13-megapixel shooter, but as we found when comparing the two devices, megapixel quantity does not guarantee quality. Those eager to get their hands on Sprint's LG Optimus G can place a pre-order beginning on November 1st. In the meantime, prospective owners can read our comprehensive review.
