Why anyone think Surface RT should be cheaper than iPad?

...despite the business/marketing reason.

- premium built (we hope)

- touch cover included

- real-deal OS (my personal opinion)

If you have premium product (to compete with iPad) you have to bring premium price.

300$? With cover? Guys, are you serious? It would be great for consumer of course, but... 300$ would not be a wise decision.

1. It would look inferior/cheap. People like having "premium" product.

2. Low sale profit per device.

Basic version should be at 400-450$.
