We knew Samsung's Galaxy Note II would be arriving on a number of US carriers by mid-November, but Sprint customers won't be waiting quite that long. Ahead of Samsung's October 24th media event, the carrier announced today that the device will be available just one day later on October 25th for $299.99. The Galaxy Note II represents a number of firsts for Sprint: it's the first smartphone larger than five inches to debut on the carrier, the first device to launch with Jelly Bean out of the box, and is also Sprint's first ever quad-core handset. As expected, the Note II will run $299.99 with a new two-year contract and Sprint will be offering both white and gray versions. And for those of you on different carriers, we'll know more about the release schedule for Sprint's competitors at that presser later this month.
