What score will "The Verge" give the surface in its review. Have a guess.
Whilst I don't even think the RT and especially Windows 8 tablets should be reviewed against the traditional tablet criteria as they are so much more than mere app consumption devices that run one app in full screen, but rather mobile devices/PC's that can replace an entire traditional desktop/notebook PC, offer new conveniences and a more advanced grade of mobile applications due to their deep integration, side-by-side snapping and data cross sharing contracts. Specifically the Verge scoring system will likely not take into account the imminent explosive App growth, the nature/function of available and potential apps, scoring the ecosystem on what's available come October 26th on app count alone. That being said it's still interesting to see what people here think the verge will score the new surface tablet.

As can be seen in my score predictions I expect them to come down hard on the ecosystem due to not having half a million and or all the popular apps there yet. Personally I feel that whilst apps are a crucial part of the ecosystem I think we are entering an age where the bundled free and paid services available for any one platform equal or outweigh apps in importance. For me it's much more important to have Skype integrated, first party SkyDrive app, XBOX music and the like than 50 different version of the twitter app, hence I believe the ecosystem is already one of the best when it comes to services.
