7in Surface hinted by Tom Warren?
Hi guys, just joined, first forum post here :)
Was just struck by one of Tom Warren's latest tweets about a '7in Xbox Surface'. He seemed to indicate that it is real and incoming, tweet here:
So... what do you guys think? Could it be a Nexus 7/iPad mini combatant? How would it differ from the Surface and would it sell?
My own personal view is that the 7in form factor wouldn't have a need for either the kickstand or a touchcover. due to it being a primarily consumption device, so it'd lose out on much of the standout features of the upcoming Surface. I don't think it'd be worth it unless MS had something special in mind.
Also interested on why Tom suggested 'XBox Surface', as opposed to just 'Surface'.
What does it all mean? :D
