Windows Phone on prepaid carriers?
I have been using basic ("dumb") phones for awhile now because I use prepaid carriers (Cricket) instead of AT&T or Verizon. I would love to get a Windows Phone but I really don't want to pay nearly twice as much for a plan when the service is just as good, plus I don't want a contract.
However, I have yet to hear anything about Windows Phone coming to a prepaid carrier. I know US Cellular has one or two, but they are not available in this area. So my question is, has anybody heard anything about Windows Phone coming to other prepaid carriers? I have been really hoping Nokia would try to be on as many networks as possible, including prepaid, even if it were their lower end phones.
I do remember hearing that Cricket was interested in Windows Phone 8, but have yet to hear anything coming from that.
