Does Android allow large print size

I am we'll past retirement age. I have an iphone4 out of contract and when available (in Luxembourg) intend to get the Samsung Galaxy Note2. This will be my first Android phone.

I have found the ability to increase the size of print on the iPhone and iPad very, very useful for reading and writing emails, notes and calander events. Does Android have the same ability.
