Un-jailbroken/Stock iOS thoughts

So, I've been using iPhones since the 3G and have only updated my iOS when a jailbreak becomes available, until the 4 got a bootrom exploit then it became tethered, so basically I've always been jailbroken.

Long story short, my girlfriends 3GS was stolen so I gave her my 4 to cheer her up since it was now over 2 years old, then took the gamble and bought an unlocked 5. I've now been using my new iPhone 5 for a couple of weeks now and it looks like the gamble hasn't paid off. Don't get me wrong, as a piece of hardware it's the best phone I've ever held, it's super-fast, super-smooth, great camera, etc, etc.

However, being used to jailbroken iOS, I find the software frustrating and boring because I know the potential of the OS and how great it can be.

IntelliscreenX - Let me have system toggles on the notification centre, wi-fi, bluetooth, tv-out, private browsing, etc. without having to go into Settings. Let me read my RSS feeds and check twitter, straight from NC. Let me reply to messages without being taken to the Messages app.

Zephyr - I still find myself trying to use this on my 5 because of how natural it felt. Swipe the app away from the bottom of the screen to take me to home screen or swipe and hold for app switcher.

CallBar - Banner style, non-intrusive incoming calls alerts let me keep playing my game without cutting the screen off.

Clockify - LiveClock icon, may seem minor, but its annoying that the clock icon is static when it doesn't have to be, like the calendar shows what date it is, why can't the clock show what time it is?

Safari Download Manager - Download any file to the device from Safari

I could go on and on with tweaks such as iFile, Springtomize, TetherMe, MultiStorey, Dreambaord and others.

Apple have had some improvements in iOS 6 such as full screen Safari but even this was done years ago in the jailbreaking community. I realise the OS is designed for average Joe, moms, grandparents and such but it's so stale it's unbearable

I was just wondering if any others were of the same mind??

I'm sure the guys will break into iOS 6 eventually and it can't come quick enough - but if they reveal it can't be done I would have another device within a week...
