TNW Receives their formal WP8 event invite: What can we discern from this?

What we are looking at above, is a fine and rare specimen. It is that of The Next Web's (TNW) official and formal invite to Microsoft's launch even for Windows Phone 8. Many of you would automatically notice that we've never seen this version before but rather the one directly below this statement.

While the old invite (Which comes from the Verge) merely shows off that suave lock-screen and the current notification system, we can see that the new invite features specific tiles. Namely Facebook, Skype, and Internet Explorer (The Arrows were placed there by the TNW Graphics team).

So going by those tiles featured, and what we already have seen leaked or revealed, what are your opinions on this.

What we know:

  • Skype: We saw a leaked video showing off how Skype fits into Windows Phone 8. (Integration into contacts, Takes calls like regular phone calls, faster operation.
  • IE: Obviously the new Internet Explorer 10-Faster, more HTML5 support and functionality
  • Facebook: We haven't heard much about this, but we all agree that more can be done to make the experience of the integrated Facebook, even better. So we could assume something is coming there. (Here's a far-fetched prediction---Integrated Instagram looming?)
  • HTC: Last but not least, you must've noticed that this invite is displayed on the screen of HTC's Flagship Windows Phone 8 device, the HTC 8X. So do you think this means anything?

Anyhow when all is said and done, all we can do is wait patiently for the 29th to come and it's a mere 10 days away. Let's go Windows Phone!
