They never saw the connection between the philosopher's stone and Firestone.
I have to admit it: for a while, I wasn't sure there was going to be an actual Plan. But there is! I am thankful to be wrong.
If you would like to discuss your thoughts on said Plan, or anything else from these chapters, you may do so below. I'm still catching up, although I am also considering just reading the first sentence of every chapter, randomly selecting some lines from Deus Ex and The Wall Street Journal's stock pages, and seeing if I come up with a similar plot.
