ASUS snuck in the announcement to my next. ASUS VivoTab Smart with ATOM for 500!!!!!
Today, while everybody was busy paying attention to the apple event, ASUS announced a new tablet for windows 8 that looks like a great value, the VivoTab smart. It's a 10.1 inch tablet that's pretty much the VivoTab RT, but it's made out of plastic and doesn't have a dock, instead it has a magnetic strip for a case similar to the Surface's cover, with a keyboard, but this can also prop the device up when you're not typing. It has an optional bluetooth keyboard, but you can just get a cheap keyboard. The most interesting part about this device is that it comes with ATOM for 500 bucks. That's cheaper than the VivoTab RT, Surface, and all the other tablets, but has full windows 8. Looks like this is my next!!!! Now I just have to sell my tf101....
