The whole "App" issue is really starting to annoy me...
The fact of the matter is if your "App" is just your website repackaged for a 3.5" or 4" screen, it isn't an "app" when you are talking about products that use full computer browser experience.
This goes for both iOS and Android btw. You can basically remove counting those as part of their "app" ecosystem because there is no bloody need for them with non-mobile based browsers. There are very very few exceptions to this general rule, twitter being the glaring one.
You want to knock WP8 for having a lack of "apps" by all means, but smacking WinRT for it due to this reason is not being honest
