Mac and Android phones don't get on?...

Hi All,

I have just placed my first My first post in the Android forum and thought I would place a similar one here as well as it also relates to Mac and I thought I may get a different perspective here.

Essentially I am a Mac user that has just moved from iphone to Android, and whilst I love my new handset I cannot get my hear around how terrible the media management software is.

Is there any simple/effective method for managing Android phones on a mac?

Currently I have tried the following:

  • Android File Transfer - With Mountain Lion and Jelly Bean this does not work at all...
  • Samsung Kies - Very very slow software, unresponsive and doesn't sync album artwork...
  • Double twist - This asks me to mount the phone and shows the steps to do it, however the suggested steps aren't possible on the S3...
