Surface RT and Remote Desktop. Good Solution?
So I really want a surface, but am fighting that desire because I think I'd be much better off with a surface pro. However, I was thinking about a possible solution. I have a very capable ThinkPad that's about two and a half years old. If I keep this hooked up via Ethernet I can wake this up remotely.
Do you think remoting in this comp whenever I need to do "desktop" things, should serve its purpose? My main uses of the desktop right now are a few IDE's (Netbeans and Eclipse), Outlook, the Nook Study application and Chrome.
Let me know if I'm missing a major idea about this process (you'd be saving me a cool $600 :) )
