Awesome time with the surface (and purchasing it)

So today I bought my surface at a Microsoft popup store in Toronto's eaton center. The employees were nice (and the girls working there were all beautiful lol).

Anyways I am native American so I get tax exemption here in Canada. As usual there were troubles processing that on their system.Shockingly the store manager just said "to hell with it, you can have 20% off!) I was happy as hell and the guy behind me looked pissed (troll face).

Anyways in addition to all of this, for some reason they didn't charge me for my touch cover AND I got a free 12 month xbox music subscription ($99 value). Some guy in line won an xbox (Microsoft being generous).

So after using the surface for a few hours now I can easily say its the best tablet out there. My only gripe is the lack of apps (to be expected).

Now I have a couple questions about some of the touch functionality (only ever used windows 8 on a desktop before):

1. How do I move tiles around, select multiple tiles etc? on the desktop I could just right click on them, but for some reason when I hold down a finger on the tile, nothing happens. I can sort of move them around (a bit finicky though) but I cant seem to get the lower bar to pop up and give me options.

2. Is there a specific way im supposed to fold the touch keyboard? it seems as though when I fold it behind the tablet then pull it out again later the keyboard is disabled. I have to pull it out and put it back in to get it working again.

3. How do I change the default search engine in metro IE10? It seems stuck on BING.

Typed this on the surface, the touch keyboard is surprisingly amazing. I was concerned it would suck, but im glad I went with the touch over the type cover.
