Win 8 and VPN
Found the first thing about Win 8 that might be a dealbreaker for me. I use a SSL VPN to remote to my desk at work, and it works beautifully via Win 7 and IE 9 or XP and IE 8. Win 8 and IE10 worked for me on Friday, but hasn't worked since. I've since noticed a ton of people having connection issues like I am - I can't go for more than a couple of minutes before it becomes unresponsive and loses the connection. Every. Single. Time. Works fine via Firefox or Chrome, but these two launch a separate Java window and the functionality isn't the same. Not even close - downgraded graphics and I can't control the Start menu via the Win button like I would normally.
I need a solution, preferably before Monday. If I have to, I'll wipe Win 8 completel, but obviously I'd rather not. VPN connections, et al are not my area of expertise, and I doubt anyone in IT will do anything on their end because it's my issue.
Suggestions are appreciated. FWIW, I use a RDP connection to get to my machine.
