WP8 - Why all the big screens?!

I guess I'm in a minority (it certainly feels like it), but why are phone screens getting bigger and bigger?

As far as I can tell, all of the WP8 devices announced so far have screens of at least 4.3 inches.

I currently have an HTC trophy, and I don't want a phone any bigger than that. The iPhone 5 feels like a really nice size.

Any talk of smaller screens seem to be associated with 'cheap' or 'entry level' options.

Are we likely to see a premium WP8 device with a smaller screen?
