Future Mac Graphics Solution?
I'm not holding my breath but it has potential.
What if Apple produces a new cinema display that's as thin as the new iMac but only filled with a thunderbolt driven graphics card? All macbooks, mac minis & maybe the new mac pro could be turned into gaming & rendering powerhouses. With retina displays catching on in the mac world, this would allow any mac product to drive an extremely high resolution.
$999 monitor + $300 graphics card = $1,499 price tag. doesn't seem to outlandish for Apple.
I also like unicorns, leprechauns & hunting squatches.
