The OEMS must be absolutely furious with Google
Not only is Google in direct competition with them, but Google is seriously undercutting the OEMs. The race to the bottom was already hurting them, now Google is eroding the margins even further.
At least with MS and surface, they were aiming at the high end, leaving plenty of space for the OEMs. I know Android is very sticky at the moment, but this will just provide more incentive for OEMs to jump at the nearest opportunity,
