Android on a stick. Have you tried it?
I'm looking to replace my HTPC and would rather not spend $300+ and have an x86 CPU sucking up all that power. So I'm looking into an Android on a stick type solution. The most common one I have found is the Rikomagic MK802 II. It has mixed reviews, but that is my goal: Small, Low power, HDMI, USB Host, and 1080p video. But that last point is where the MK802 II isn't doing so hot.
There are videos on YouTube that show choppy playback of SD video. So I'm looking into the AMLogic-M3 also. It will playback 1080p without a problem but there is a lack of reviews out there. Has anyone else tackled this solution for a HTPC? I would love to hear some feed back.
