400,000 apps in the App Store have never been downloaded

Not to start a flame war but, if ecosystem is all about how many apps are there in a platform then it really doesn't matter at all. The whole ecosystem score is a joke. The Verge should really rethink this scoring category. Or they should probably just remove it.
