Rumor or implementation: Which came first ?
I think that something isn't being discussed about Apple.
I've seen rumors come and go, implementations flounder and some succeed wildly. Apple implements new features in grandiose fashion. Lamenting how much faster, easier, simpler it is to use their product. It's easy to think that when Apple isn't counting it's billions of cash, it's working on innovating. But often times, especially in the recent past, it appears that some of their seeds of innovation were planted by rumors.
Often times, it's believe that the rumor follows the implementation.......but what if it's the other way around.
- What if Apple saw a notification system that it liked so much that they hired that person to implement in on their team ....... http://osxdaily.com/2011/06/03/is-mobilenotifier-the-ios-5-notification-system/
- Or....the rumor that OSX would be launched from a flash drive and the remaining hard drive would hold everything else.....now, welcome Fusion Drive
Leading to the often mis-quoted Steve Jobs or should we say Igor Stravinsky quote, "Lesser artists borrow, great artists steal."
What are your thoughts, what comes first....the rumor....or the implementation ?
