Pages with too much comments are unusably slow
It's getting out of hand. Pages with long comments are so heavy that I can't smoothly scroll in them with my i5 desktop, let alone a tablet.
This problem can be solved by displaying top comments only first, and displaying replies to that comment, only when the user clicks the expand button.
Another possible solution might be ditching the avatars. This seems to be what reddit has done to solve this problem.
