What's your preferred writing instrument?

Post your favorite writing instrument! Curious as to what you guys prefer.


Pentel RSVP 0.7mm ballpoint for me, in black. One of the smoother pens I've used, and the fine point is really handy for small writing and the occasional sketch/doodle. The grip is nice, the barrel diameter is nice, and I like the weight (not heavy, but not so light as to feel cheap - possibly due to its length). Plus, I think it looks pretty good.

I've been a ballpoint guy since middle school. I write messier in gel and felt, never really tried fountain; pencil just doesn't glide like ballpoint.
