HTC just doesnt get it...

After seeing the of the unveiling HTC One X+ it really got me thinking... Why didnt HTC just wait and release THIS phone instead of the One X? The One X was the first of the major 3 (Samsung and Apple the other two) cell phone companys to release its flagship phone. sales have not been as expected and ATT soon slashed the price in half. A lot of people i talked to liked the One X but either A. wanted to use a SGS3 first or B. wanted to wait for the iPhone 5 announcement. If HTC had been smart and just waited a few more months you might have heard people say "You know what? im going to wait to see what HTC has to offer." then BOOM quad core, LTE, 64gb, jelly bean, a stunning screen and awesome cam and people would have went ape shit over this thing. but now HTC looks like they dont understand what consumers want and now look like any other company who refreshes "flagship" phones every 6 months and updates the old flagships well after the new one ships. havent they learned from Apple and Sanmung that ONE flagship a year is more than enough. that consumers dont like buyers remorse very 6 months and that they also would like updates that dont take forever just because your promoting a new flagship? I guess not, i guess HTC just doesnt get it.
