I wonder if you could chip off the gloss and refinish the phone.

It's polycarbonate all the way through, right? That was a huge selling point.

So, I wonder if the gloss is a layer or the substance of the polycarbonate. If it's a layer, then you *could* sandpaper that gloss off, and then finish it with a fine grit to get a matte-like texture, right?

I'm probably putting too much thought into this. I'm not gonna grind my phone for style. Still, it's a thought.
