At a medium growth of 118 apps per day by launch it will surpass the 6000 apps mark ; but this growing it's getting bigger , and between Sep 25 and 29 an average of 240 apps where submitted every day...

I can't even imagine what will append when windows 8 goes intro the wild ;)
