I'm sorry, but purple lens flare is nothing new

i'm sorry but this happens to EVERY camera. Hell i'm looking at a family vacation picture taken with a 35mm camera back in the mid 90s with the sun shining in the background and it has the purple hue.
Are some mac users really that stupid?
