Does anyone else thinks that the Podcasts App (iOS) sucks?

I was dying to say this, but who else thinks that the Podcasts ios app sucks big time?

It's heavy, it's cluttered, the animation of the old recorder is annoying. I can't use the podcast database in my car, and everytime i meddle with the song lists, podcasts app stops playing. Other than that, when i run other apps, suddenly the podcasts restart playing from the phone speakers.

Anyone power listener to podcasts can relate to these problems? Any iOS Podcast player alternates out there?
