Which phone/situation should I choose? Nexus 4 vs. Galaxy Note 2

I just wanted people's opinion on which situation is the best. I don't really mind what angle you are looking at it from. To me, the two situations are equal and having a hard time deciding on what to do.

Currently, I am on AT&T and own a Galaxy Nexus. I used to own a Galaxy Note as well. Big fan of both phones.

Situation #1 - Stay on AT&T (good service at home but spotty service around my school area) and get the LG Nexus 4 when it comes out in two weeks. I love the stock Android experience. However, I am growing weary of having bad reception at my school on AT&T network. I consistently miss calls. As a graduate student, it's very inconvenient. As for the phone, Nexus 4 (even though it's LG) is looking really good based on videos especially if you include the wireless charging dock.

Situation #2 - Switch over to Verizon and get the Galaxy Note 2 when it is released at the end of November. I will be taking a hit with the $200 ETA but my school gives me 20% off of my monthly bill if you are Verizon user. So the ETA won't be a big deal in the long-term. Of course, the main thing with Verizon is that their coverage is really good around my school area. Even though I won't be getting the latest Android OS, it's still 4.1 Jelly Bean.

So basically it's AT&T/LG Nexus 4 vs. Verizon LTE/Galaxy Note 2

Thanks for any input.
