Crazy Idea: Nexus 4 on Verizon Through Tethering
I know this is crazy, but I am intrigued by this idea: Buy an unlocked Nexus 4 and tether it from either another phone on Verizon (Galaxy Nexus) or a mifi, also using it on wi-fi where ever possible. You would have to find work arounds for calling and texting and it would be a hassle, but you could have all of the wonders of the Nexus 4 on Verizon's LTE network. Obviously you could switch carriers and save the trouble, but I'm pretty sure I am not the only person who purchased a Galaxy Nexus on a 2 year contract from Verizon and is wishing they could buy a Nexus 4.
I am probably not going to do this, but I was wondering what other people thought of this idea or what you could do to make it work. What do you guys think?
